Maximum hire of 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Carl Bird Ltd skips and RO/ROs are not to be moved once they are situated on site.
No Asbestos, Fridges, Freezers, TV’S/Monitors, Tube Lights, Batteries, Liquid (I.E Paint, Chemicals, Oils), Vehicle Tyres, Gas Bottles, Plasterboard/ Gypsum-based Products, Corrosives/Explosives, Wood – Hazardous Cat D ie railway sleepers, telegraph poles; other items treated with creosote and Clinical Waste. If any of these prohibited items are found within the skip the hirer faces additional charges.
We are no longer able to accept excavated material (soil/sand/stone/turf etc) in with the general waste due to the complications it causes to recycling operations on site. For large quantities of excavated material we can provide a separate skip.
Any wood waste placed in the skip must conform to current legislation. Details can be found at woodrecyclers.org
All skips and/or RO/ROs must stand off the highway on private property.
Customers ordering any of Carl Bird Ltd vehicles off the highway do so at their own risk, Carl Bird Ltd will not accept any liability if any damage is caused.
Customers are responsible for any skip or RO/RO that is on their property or site including any damage or theft.
Skips are to be level full only. Any skips or RO/ROs that are deemed by our drivers to be overfull or dangerously loaded will incur a charge for a wasted journey and will not be collected until safe to do so.
Waste remains property of the customer until payment is made in full or otherwise agreed. Carl Bird Ltd reverse the right to refuse to collect and/or return any waste if payment is not made within the agreed terms.
Materials delivered to site remain the property of Carl Bird Ltd until payment is made in full. Carl Bird Ltd reserve the right to remove any material delivered if full payment is not made within the agreed terms.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific times for deliveries or collections.
Payment for all services is required before delivery unless otherwise agreed.
