If you’re working on a demolition project or larger constructing project and need something larger than a standard skip, this is where our RO/RO bins come in. RO/RO bins – known as Roll On, Roll Off bins – are available in various sizes. These bins are perfect for construction and industrial businesses and anyone else who needs to dispose of a lot of waste in one go.

Our RO/RO bins boast several benefits. Not only will you be able to store a large amount of waste, meaning you’ll need fewer skips than you may have needed in the past, but you can then dispose of it more conveniently. Using a larger skip means fewer waste collections, less disruption on-site and a reduced carbon footprint.

At Carl Bird Limited, we have various sizes of RO/RO bins available. This includes 18, 25, 30, 40 and 50 cubic yard bins. These are ideal for large construction sites or if you have a large quantity of waste and our bins can sometimes work out as a more cost effective way of removing large quantities of waste. As RO/RO bins are larger than standard bins, they do require more room for storage and collection. If you are concerned about having adequate site access, speak to one of our team.

We offer same day collections with advance notice as well as discounts for single waste streams i.e concrete/hardcore, wood, paper/card, soil, soil/hardcore or green waste.

Prohibited Items

The following items are deemed as hazardous/contaminants and are not permitted in the RO/ROs:

Fridges, Freezers, Televisions, Computer monitors, Fluorescent Tube Lights, Batteries, Liquids (including paint and paint tins), Explosives, Tyres, Asbestos, Gas Bottles.

If you have any of the above items for disposal then contact your local council to find out the services they offer i.e collection, amnesty days and disposal at your local HWRC site.

N.B Plasterboard – Due to the classification of plasterboard and the limited number of disposal sites that accept it we have a few options for plasterboard acceptance at our site :

A RO/RO purely for plasterboard. Price on request.

Put in a 1 tonne bag supplied in conjuction with RO/RO hire. Bag to be filled and placed in RO/RO on top of waste.
